Louise Phillips has been involved in the appraisal of antiques and residential contents since 1986, and is a Certified Member of the International Society of Appraisers. She co-founded the North Carolina Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers and has served a two-year term as President of the chapter. She served as treasurer from 2000-2011.
She is also a former Distance Education Instructor for the International Society of Appraisers, which trains other appraisers in the correct methodology and process involved in performing an appraisal to USPAP standards.
Louise is certified in appreciable residential contents, with a focus on antiques, ceramics, silver, furniture and collectibles. Clients include attorneys, banks, businesses, and individuals. Projects have included large collections as well as multiple project sites throughout the Southeast where inventories, consultations, estate sales and appraisals are needed. Clients have included the city of Charlotte as well as numerous attorneys and businesses in the area. She has also been an expert witness for clients and testified in court on their behalf.
